Serving in Worship
Servant leaders participate in each worship service to help with:

Serving Communion

Reading the Bible scriptures
-
Greeting worshippers and guiding them to their seats

Helping with the services' livestream broadcasts

Lighting the candles prior to the services

There are many opportunities to serve during any of our worship services.
Below are descriptions of each the worship assistant position that are needed:

Acolytes – assist by lighting candles and leading processions; acolyte roles include crucifer, torch bearer, candle bearer, and book bearer

Assisting Ministers – lead the prayers throughout the worship service

Communion Assistants – assist with the distribution of communion

Ushers – greet people as they arrive, bring the offering forward, and help guide the congregation to receive communion

Lectors – read the appointed scripture lessons
